[E3] Driver: San Francisco

June 16th, 2010

First things first, no, I am not reporting live from E3. Which is a shame, because that would be pretty awesome. But I thought that as this is predominantly a gaming site, and we haven’t had too many updates recently, I’d do a news piece and share a few of my thoughts.

As I was looking through stuff from E3 for Valve’s latest trailer, I found a link to ‘Driver: San Francisco’. Immediately Portal 2, which I already know isn’t coming out until next year, was forgotten. [X360] Prince of Persia Review

August 1st, 2009

As we all know Prince of Persia has been round a while, we had three new installments that were brought to life by that of Ubisoft. They have now come back with a new installment, well rather I’d say a reboot of the style that is Prince of Persia. To some this game up in a few words would be ‘Prince fan? buy it’. I myself am a Prince of Persia fan, I played Sands of Time, Warrior Within and Two Thrones so I had some wide experience with the Prince’s Adventures.

I’m going to go into it straight away starting from the main menu, this game is made to look snazzy and pretty and it delivers it well, its menu’s are simple and not cluttered. The choice of colors are very good they mesh well and present a lovely feel to the menus.  You have a world map which is simply laid out by circles which represent sections of a main area, i.e. you have one big circle as a place, and 4 mini circles inside that to represent different areas to explore.
