[PC] Habbo Hotel

Habbo Hotel IS good

STOP! I know what you’re thinking…what the fuck is he doing writing about HABBO HOTEL! Well it’s because I play it…yes that’s right I play Habbo hotel, but it isn’t that bad! I play it because you can do a lot of things in it. Habbo has taken on a totally new look recently, most likely because of the constant updates going on.

First of all the old Habbo. The first ever Habbo look I had was ok -.- but it had a lot of flaws and glitches for instance the sofa glitch (although it was very entertaining) was annoying as anything. If you were to walk to the sofa and it had just been rotated it would automatically make you face the way it was. Not the way it’s facing (however you could actually make it look like a piano if you danced and rotated it while sitting down ^_^). The changing of your look method was more simple or though it restricted you INCREDIBLY when it came to certain aspects of it.

[FlashFriday] TETRIS’D/99 Bricks

November 7th, 2009

Well, apologies for failing to write my lovely little FlashFriday feature last week. So much for me building up a buffer of posts eh? Well, now things have calmed down a bit I shall return to talk about some games based off of the absolute classic Tetris. (I just had to add that to my Firefox spellcheck dictionary… for shame Mozilla, for shame)

Well, first off, if you’ve never played Tetris… wait, nope can’t even finish that sentence. Everyone ever has played Tetris. It’s universal law or something. Seriously. I mean… if you really haven’t… why not?

[Twitter] Tekken 6 over Twitter

October 15th, 2009

Namco Bandai has done something that seemed impossible by making Tekken 6 for twitter through a service called Tekken Talk. Which involves you in throw punches and kicks at people by tweeting them. The game will pair you off with another player and all you have to do is simply tweet one of your character’s 20 moves at him which are listed on the website.

Sign up here if you feel like tweeting people into submission. I’d recomend getting a separate twitter account for all the tweets that may be caused by this service.

[X360] 1 vs 100

July 24th, 2009

A few weeks ago, 1 vs 100 was released onto Xbox Live Primetime in the UK, only 8 months after it was supposed to be released as part of the New Xbox Experience. Yes, I realise that it’s been out in America and Canada for ages now, but it’s recent here and I feel I have the right to whine about it. See, I was really looking forward to it and was rather disappointed when I found out that once you scrape away all the hype and shiny effects you’re left with a great big ball of mediocrity.

For those of you who have never seen the show, the basic concept of 1 vs 100 is as follows. The One must answer questions correctly until all one hundred members of The Mob have got a question wrong, at which point The One wins. Alternatively, if the One gets a question wrong, everyone in The Mob who hasn’t got a question wrong yet wins. Simple, right?
