[GTPBYD] Mass Effect

April 15th, 2010

We asked writers, contributors and friends of MOREtotheGAME to write an article detailing a game they think everyone should play before they die, and why. These are what happened…

As part of GeneShark’s GTPBYD feature I’ve decided that I’ll suggest Mass Effect, a game for the XBOX 360 and PC created by BioWare. The main concept of this game is that it is a space exploration RPG with some shooter elements. You play as Shepard, who is a commander of a ship who is also completely unique depending on who plays him or her. For Shepard can be a boy or girl. Shepard can be old or young. [360] Forza Motorsport 3

January 26th, 2010

[Ed - Another fairly old post this, that has recently been finished. We might get the backlog clear finally]

Wow I can hardly believe this is only my first XBOX 360 review. This is a very recent game that came out in September this year 2009. [360] Left 4 Dead 2

January 9th, 2010

:o What’s this? Could it be that I am actually reviewing a NEW game. Yes thats right I have got Left 4 Dead 2 by Valve on the XBOX 360, a game to come out in December 2009. It is a zombie survival co-op game which plays as a first person shooter.

Story

The world is in chaos after a zombie apocalypse has torn through every country around the globe. There are very few people who are immune to the virus and a few who have mutated from it. In the little town of Savannah in America 4 survivors desperately try to signal for a helicopter from the top of a burning hotel, but to no avail. No they have to get out of the area before the whole building collapses.

And then the game starts, that is if you chose to do the campaigns in the right order. This game consists of 5 campaigns consisting of 4 or 5 levels each. Although the games are set in an order they can be completed in any order and can be played individually from the others. In a way the campaigns are treated as movies, consisting of a poster before playing the levels and credits at the end.
