Awesome, Jowan :D
You’re -more- than welcome to write some FlashFriday stuff, I’ve been lagging behind with it.
Joe your article is scheduled, Im getting every post written ready and published so we can have articles up fast :P
good. And Tom I have 2 articles that are ready, one of which i know is going in another feature. But seriously me and brett seem to be the only person writing game reviews for this game site.
@Joe: I write about games.
As does Jowan (Alongside Brett).
Here are all of my posts, here are yours.
I might do at some point. But I’m not going to be carrying your burden today. Nice try… :P
Hehe, curses. I’m still sat here trying to get to the later stages of what was going to be today’s FF article.
More Assassin’s Creed.
That is all :P
Not really :P, I ve been trying to complete the game in one go apart from the flags and achievements, I can do those later. The guards have finally got a bit smarter and can actually get a hit every so often :D. I like the challenge, but I can still just kill them quickly with a counter move so meh. I also like the fact I had to assassinate someone, who could out run me even though he had two throwing knives sticking out of his back :P.
Altair’s climbing speed is still annoying and I’ve given up trying to out run guards I just fight until they’re all dead, not so fast but easier to lose them :D. Hopefully I’ll be onto Assassin’s Creed 2 by next week :D
Don’t do it Jowan, today it’s just one article, next he’ll dump the whole feature on you :P
EDIT: Oh lol, didn’t see that second post. I just scrolled to comment as soon as Tom said you are welcome to.
XD
Heh, I’d never dump Flash Friday on someone!
I love Flash gaming <3
Haha lol no comments, oh wait …. fuck
good review and now you’ve said about it i wanna watch it ^_^ lol i do like the review and I’m definitely getting the DVD too see it ^_^
Right, first of some games I’ve played recently is on my Raptr profile (http://raptr.com/zxpiesqrd) which will from now on be the source of my games played in a week.
However, I’ve managed to grab get onto L4D and CS:S enjoying shooting people and zombies :P (Also yay fail L4D Vs team, we suck \o/)
What’s this? A FlashFriday article actually on the site in the afternoon rather than the evening?
What is the world coming to… :P
*Goes away to try out the game*
I think you’ll find this was scheduled up for 8am this morning, right on time!
And do so, I love it.
Another, more than 660, versions of the LodeRunner game clones for all platforms is free for downoading from the LodeDome http://lodedome.no-ip.com/index.php web site. I like most of them.
Got Mass Effect 2 last week, completed now. Also been playing FIFA 10 again, after a long break from it. Other than that I have been quite boring.
Hehe, you and your “I’ll post every day” attitude. Feel free to try :P
I’ll have to y’know, post you a handwritten article in the end.
meh the review was ok i’ll say that…oh and…well nothing realy i don’t really wanna watch the film sorry :S doesn’t sound like somet i’d watch
Definitely need to see this, probably going to pick up a subbed version though, usually prefer them.
This week, I’ve been playing Borderlands :D
I’m a soldier class at the moment buts thats only becasue Clap-Trap decided to fail on my runthrough with the hunter. (All fixed now btw Tom :P ) Not really that far through the game, just killed Sledge and got the fast transport network back online :D I need to hurry and get to New Haven so the runners wil stop killing me :( I know they’re not that difficult to kill but my revolver kills them faster so i get out of my runner and then they just won’t stop spawning next to me D:
Only bad point would be that you can still get attacked whilst in the shops.
Also been playing Pokemon Diamond.
After not using a cheat cartridge to level up my Pokemon I finally took on the Elite Four etc etc
Sorry for not commenting last week. I was playing Family Ski.
Just not with my family. (with the college instead)
And in real life, in Austria.
So I didn’t get around to playing much :P
Heheh, fair enough Toby, s’all good!
<3 Borderlands, I was on a soldier playthrough when I lost my PC ;_;
I’ve actually been gaming enought this week to post on here – clearly I don’t actually want this degree :P Although being ill has also helped.
Anyway, I finally finished Bioshock this week, because I’m just that up-to-date. Loved it, although the gameplay kind of suffered towards the end of it when I suddenly became the invincible wrench god. Still, no problem with most of it, and full French localisation has guaranteed it another playthrough from me.
In slightly less big-budget news, I just finished VVVVVV, and possibly the tattered fragments of my soul. For those of you who haven’t experienced it, it’s an old-school hard 2d platformer based around gravity flipping and rooms full of spikes. These two elements can, as it turns out, make a surprisingly deep game. And hard. Oh so hard. As the later areas of the game started to make their presence known, I was noticing their effects on my usual stream of gaming invective, ranging from incoherent screams to innovative new arrangements of profanity (“Fucking wanking fuckwitch” being a personal favourite), to long stretches of me simply shouting “Fuck!” in the same hopeless monotone every time I died. Which was very regularly. In my two-hour playthrough of this game, I died 782 times, of which 139 were in the same room. It’s that kind of game. But still, fantastic fun – you can get the demo for free on Kongregate or at http://www.thelettervsixtim.es/ or, as I found out, a little creative system abuse on Kong can get you the full game free.
Right, here we go.
Since the last time I commented on this feature, I have got a few new games. Well, new to me at least.
I bought two games to play multiplayer against friends. Firstly, Left4Dead2, which I play with members of the MTTG community. I haven’t played this as much as I’d like; in fact not at all last week, but it seems to be just as entertaining as its predecessor. The gameplay is similar, but with the addition of melee weapons, which I tend to rely on too much. There are also new types of infected to control in verses mode.
The second game I got was Race Driver: Grid, which I play with a completely unconnected group of friends. When I first tried driving a car in this, I just ended up spinning out at every corner. I found it difficult to get into, but when I eventually got used to the handling, it transformed into a highly entertaining racing game. Playing against my friends, I can get away with treating it as more than a racing game. When I’m not doing too well, I’ll turn around, drive the wrong way round the track and do all I can to wreck their cars when I come across them.
Although I have both of these multiplayer games, it is the third of my new games I’ve played the most. As Grid was in the 2 for £15 section in Game, I looked for a second game. And I found Fable: The Lost Chapters, which I had heard was quite good. It is a single player RPG, in which you can choose to become good or evil. Obviously I wanted both, so I started two games and played them in parallel. I have found this game very enjoyable. Whenever no-one has been around for multiplayer, I have been advancing both my good and evil characters through the game.
Add several online flash games to this and you have my gaming habits for the past few weeks.
