Today’s lovely Photoshop contest was inspired by the brilliant Decline of Video Gaming series of animations by Double-Helix (Which comes complete with amazing accents, by the way) and asks you what happens, when Sequels go too far?

I’m also not going to present these in any kind of order other than what I feel like posting them in, so don’t think you’ve won whoever I end up posting last! This post is a lovely non-competitive affair, everyone wins. Vicious bloodthirsty competition will resume if it’s yelled for enough. Honest.

So, first up in this nice little EQUAL post, is Robtimus with his BOMBZ? cover.

Next up in this entirely nonranked whatsoever tour, is Jonobrow and COD14. MS Paint rules, kay?

If, like me, you have reeled back in horror at the sight of this… game, used in the most sneeringly disgusted manner possible, then fear not, our reboxing of this… *Shudder* …game, has gone rather amusingly well. In that in was done in one.

Here’s another wonderful set of Photoshop challenge entries, this time for a challenge set by KatieGibbard- Can you change the art on a box, to change the meaning of the title? Interesting… here are the examples she gave:

And here’s what our members came up with, ranked from worst to last (Judged by Katie).

It’s another Photoshop contest, callooh callay oh frabjous day! The forum members had one simple task:
To create the boxart for a game so vile, that if it were ever to actually be created it would be considered one of humanity’s greatest crimes against the Universe. This is what they created:

GeneShark, Arson around as usual

Barrel Fox: The man, the fox, the legend ... the ... barrel...

CrabPope is to MS Paint what Ghengis Khan was to Eastern Europe.

When Jonobrow jumps into a pool, he doesn't get wet - the water gets Jonobrow'd.

X-Solid took Mario to the next level. Naturally the game would arrive 4 hours late and cost £250 per hour.

CrabPope likes this cover as much as he does talking in the third person.

Welcome to the first post from our feature, Re-Box’d. We’ll be running a variety of imagery challenges for your amusement, and we’ll post the best ones from our forum up here on the site. You know you love it.

This feature, we bring you the frankly awful Guitar Hero 5 boxart.

It looks rather dull. And there’s barely a guitar in sight (There is one there, it’s just hiding like Waldo.) So we challenged our users (That’d be you) to take part in our first Re-Box’d challenge, and ‘Do better than the professional graphic artist. With MS Paint.’

We had some… odd entries. Which you can see, after the rather lovely break.
