Ok, I said I wasn’t going to do this feature unless I got a minimum of 10 votes on the poll, and we got 9, so I’m making an exception this one time. Just please vote next time.
Results
Ok here are the results, in-case you were unable to look at the side:
What are your predictions on what 2010 will hold for gaming?
- A lot (44%, 4 Votes)
- Not much (33%, 3 Votes)
- Average year (22%, 2 Votes)
- Hard to say (1%, 0 Votes)
Total Voters: 9
So according to YOU 2010 looks to be an exciting and big year for games, let’s hope so :D. In terms of comments, I got 1 person (who I’ll paste in a bit further down). When looking at the results for this I had a quick search for reasons why 2010 might look to be a big year, and I found a list of game releases this year. As for well known titles, I had found:
- Mass Effect 2 (Out on date of this post)
- Battlefield: Bad company 2
- Pokémon Heart Gold/Soul Silver
- Command and conquer 4
- God of War III
- Gran Turismo 5 (Eventually, but apparently features the top gear test track)
There are probably more, but that’s what I could pick out easiest from the list of all upcoming titles I found.
Extended Views
Ok, I think I forgot to mention this, but as well as commenting with ideas for new polls comment extending your views behind your answer and use it for discussion too!
So yeah as I said I got one comment from Tom about what he thinks about the upcoming year:
“There are some solid sequels coming next year, but original IP? Notsomuch. Also we might get bombarded with 3D and motion controls, so it’s set to be an important year in that respect.” – Geneshark TomNew Poll, GET VOTING!!!
And here’s the new poll (I can tell Brett is going to love this one):
Can you ever be TOO old for Pokémon?
- No (100%, 7 Votes)
- Yes (0%, 0 Votes)
- Ha! Pokémon is for kids (0%, 0 Votes)
Total Voters: 7
Before you go, VOTE (^It’s only up there y’know^). Then after that you can go, although feel free to comment with more in-depth views or even suggest another poll for me (have put yours on my backlist GeneShark) and that’s about it for this week.
