Nintendo tops the GameDeveloper Top 20 publishers list for the third year running, in the magazine’s highly anticipated report. The report, which is crafted from a wide range of statistics including a reputation-survey, revenue data and average review scores is available in the October 2009 edition of GameDeveloper magazine.
Nintendo’s chart-topping scores in revenue and partner feedback, coupled with it’s strong reputation allowed it to retain the number 1 spot for a third year, with Electronic Arts taking the second spot once again and Activision Blizzard holding onto it’s third position in the countdown.
Entering the list for the first time this year are ZeniMax (Parent Company of Fallout 3 developer, Bethesda Softworks) at number 7, MTV at #14 due to the success of the various Rock Band titles Harmonix have put out this year and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment at #16
