[Tom, Wooster]
Along our mystical expeditions around MCM, we encountered varying levels of free stuff. Could this be the wondrous and legendary swag we’ve heard so much about? I believe it is!
Upon walking into the Excel Centre, one of the first thing to come out of my mouth was how homely, how natural, how mall-like it seemed. “No, I can’t possibly use this to fuel my materialistic ways, can I?”. Well I was wrong.Almost immediately, pendrives, teeshirts and posters were thrusted into my hand. I was in heaven. So I went on to explore the entire convention, seeking out my booty…
This little bullet pen-drive advertising Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood kinda took the swag-related show for some, it came in the awesome entry-bag (for queuers) or the awesome bring-your-lanyard-back-please bag (for non-queuers) and it’s currently holding my photos from the event, managing most of them with 1GB of space to offer.
Many thanks to whoever pointed me towards the pile of goody bags this gem was in at the end of the first day, IT IS HANDY. Carrying around a large shoulder bag, jacket and camera is a quick route to melting, and having this little bag for important things was indeed, as I’m sure I’ve not mentioned yet, handy. Thumbs up for the Far Cry 2 swag.
Lots of posters and anime taster DVDs were collected too, and we’ve got an awful lot of Borderlands goodies to give away, but that’s for another post…

Got any spare bullets? ;) haha
Heheh, I’ll have a looksee James.
We don’t since I would have had one if we did
Hey gents, tall guy from the press room here.
Just checked through my swag and realised that I TOTALLY DIDN’T GET ANY.
You guys must be wily.
Gasp! Just asking booth staff for goodies to give away worked, and getting the lanyards back early helped.
We’ll have to send you some when we finally get it all sorted out.
We weren’t too wily, just ask them and they give you stuff. But it helped that we went and asked the people handing goodie bags out to the regular entry people for some.
Where’s my Goddamn Megan Fox poster? D:
You shall have it tomorrow if you’re around at lunch time, don’t you worry
